Access to Healthcare
I believe healthcare starts with preparedness, especially when it comes to protecting Wyoming’s kids. That belief is shaped by my experience as a volunteer firefighter and certified first responder. That’s why I sponsored House Bill 115, focused on making sure schools are ready to respond to cardiac emergencies by putting clear plans in place, training staff, and supporting districts with the resources they need when seconds matter.
While the bill earned strong early support, it ultimately fell short this session. I’m not backing down. I’ll continue working to advance solutions like HB 115 that protect students, support schools, and strengthen the health and safety of our communities.
In previous sessions, I also worked to support the health of those who serve on the front lines. I co-sponsored House Bill 66 and championed Senate File 8, expanding access to early cancer screenings for our firefighters and allowing emergency responders to opt in to the state’s employee insurance plan so they have the coverage they deserve.
