We must be prepared to keep our families and children safe. As a volunteer firefighter and first responder, I’ve witnessed directly how critical fast action is during emergencies, and how essential it is for communities to have the right tools in place to save lives. I’ve also worked to support firefighters and first responders by expanding access to early cancer screenings and strengthening healthcare coverage for emergency personnel who put their lives on the line.
That experience is what led me to sponsor legislation aimed at helping Wyoming schools better prepare for cardiac emergencies by developing response plans, training staff, requiring AEDs, and ensuring schools have access to lifesaving resources when every moment counts. Together, they reflect a simple goal: keeping Wyoming families safe while standing behind the first responders who protect them.
