From Wyoming. For Wyoming.
I was born and raised in Teton County, where I live today with my wife and two kids. Growing up in Jackson shaped who I am, instilling in me the values of hard work, personal responsibility, and a deep respect for the Wyoming way of life.
After graduating from Jackson Hole High School, I earned my degree in Political Science from the University of Wyoming. My interest in public service has always been grounded in real-world experience and a commitment to the community that raised me.
I’ve spent my career building and operating businesses in western Wyoming, including owning and growing a fly-fishing outfitting company and helping launch Mountain Standard Realty. Through that experience, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges Wyoming entrepreneurs face and understand the importance of keeping government limited, efficient, and accountable.
That work also strengthened my commitment to conservation and responsible stewardship of our public lands. These lands are a cornerstone of our way of life, and I believe in protecting them while ensuring they remain accessible for future generations.
Service has always been a priority for me. I’ve served on local boards, including as Chairman of the Snake River Fund, and I volunteer with Teton County Fire/EMS, helping respond to emergencies and protect our community.
Today, I bring that same mindset to the Wyoming House, focused on practical solutions, accountability, and protecting the values that make Wyoming strong. I’m committed to doing the work, standing up for our communities, and making sure Wyoming remains a place where families can thrive for generations to come.
My Time in the Legislature
Serving in the Wyoming House has reinforced for me that leadership is about doing the work, not making noise. I’ve focused on reading every bill, asking tough questions, and making sure what we pass actually works for Wyoming families. Too often, I’ve seen politics get in the way of good policy—rushed decisions, headlines over substance—but I’ve stayed committed to a more thoughtful, results-driven approach. That’s meant working across differences, improving legislation when it falls short, and standing my ground when it doesn’t make sense. I’m proud to be a steady, independent voice focused on getting things right for the people I represent.
